Haffield House
The Haffield Estate was created in 1813 by John Biddulph and the house was designed and built by the renown architect Sir Robert Smirke in 1819. The ‘unpretentious Greek Revival house’ theme can be seen all the way through the property with reaching columns and intricate stonework. The house was eventually owned by the Cadbury family and it was off this illustrious family that RJL purchased Haffield house 2016.
RJL took time to listen to the family regarding the history of the grade 2* listed building and worked with that very much in mind in the total refurbishment of the property. Haffield house today is a beautiful country home, it has a modern contemporary feel to it whilst still retaining its important historical features.
